Every summer I become obsessed with painting the inside of my condo white. Actually, it’s not just my condo I want white: I switched my blog from Blogger to WordPress because I like the simple, clean templates at WordPress better than the fussy ones available through Blogger. I’m not going to be learning how to code my own website any time soon, so templates are the way to go for me.
I think my inclination towards white stems from the fact that my my living room windows are completely covered by the leafy trees outside. I love trees, but they start to make me feel a little claustrophobic when they block my view entirely:

Pretty, but it’s enough to make anyone go stir crazy after awhile. The walls in my condo are all painted in super-saturated hues that are gorgeous, but I’ve had these colors four years and I am hungry for change. Here are photos of my living room and bedroom:

I’ve been inspired a lot by Scandinavian design, and here are some lovely white rooms that have me itching to paint my home white:

Ooh, white would be such a change! I love it. If you change it, be sure to post some pictures.
Don’t worry, I will!
Hello IKEA PS Locker!!! I love that red against the green wall… but white is super nice too! Unless your couch is white, that blows.
I have very little white furniture, actually. It’s a good thing.
My new walls are all white, and I’m really digging it. I might just leave them bare, as hanging things on plaster is kind of a nightmare anyway. I feel like white walls put a lot of pressure on your furnishings. Fortunately, everything you own is totally rad.
Those kitchen cabinets actually look kind of like yours and mine.
Ours are considered European-style. I just wish mine weren’t that ucky beige color.
